Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Location: Cape Cod, Massachusetts

Salary Range: $165,000 – $300,000

Relocation Requirement: This role requires living and working in Cape Cod, MA

Position Overview:

We’re seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to drive financial strategy, ensure sustainable growth, and enhance profitability across our wholesale, restaurant, and retail operations. This pivotal role demands expertise in multi-unit retail, wholesale, and hospitality environments.

Chief Financial Officer Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and execute financial strategies to achieve long-term growth goals
    • Provide insights to guide decisions across all business divisions
    • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Implement cost-reduction initiatives while ensuring operational efficiency
    • Upgrade ERP systems for improved financial reporting and accuracy
    • Lead financial technology integration and optimization efforts
  • Business Expansion:
    • Support market entry for new concepts
    • Develop financial plans for new ventures and acquisitions
  • Wholesale Division Growth:
    • Drive profitability for the wholesale seafood division
    • Manage financial logistics and optimize distribution operations
  • Compliance & Risk Management:
    • Ensure adherence to financial regulations and industry standards
    • Oversee risk management and internal audit functions

Chief Financial Officer Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA/CPA preferred)
  • 5–10 years in a CFO or senior financial leadership role
  • Proven success in multi-unit retail, wholesale, or hospitality industries
  • Expertise in ERP systems and financial technologies
  • Hands-on approach to business operations and problem-solving
  • Experience with seasonal workforce management (H2B, J1 visa programs) is a plus
