Human Resource Manager – Chicago, IL
We are seeking a talented HR Manager located in the Chicago, IL area for a dynamic international restaurant company renowned for creating and managing upscale casual dining and vibrant lounges. In this pivotal role, you will be the go-to resource for employee relations, addressing issues with care, creativity, and confidence. Your mission will be to develop effective solutions by offering thoughtful guidance, conducting thorough investigations, and ensuring a supportive environment for management and staff while upholding compliance with company policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
– Empower employees and management through coaching and counseling on various matters related to employee relations, including policy interpretation, conflict resolution, performance management, disciplinary procedures, grievance handling, and terminations.
– Keep management and employees informed about benefits and all available programs to enhance their experience.
– Promptly respond to inquiries, ensuring that all resolutions are respectful and fair for everyone involved.
Qualifications Required:
– A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is essential.
– Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
– Experience in restaurant or hospitality.
– At least 3 years of HR experience is required.
– Professional Human Resources Certification.
– This position requires that you work on-site and occasionally travel to company locations.
