A leading northeastern Massachusetts site and utility contractor is seeking a skilled Estimator to join our dynamic team.

Estimator Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate and competitive construction estimates
  • Conduct detailed take-offs to determine project scope and requirements
  • Develop comprehensive project proposals for clients
  • Collaborate effectively with Project Managers to ensure project success
  • Maintain open and transparent communication with clients and subcontractors
  • Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel to create detailed estimating documents
  • Perform additional estimating tasks as needed

Estimator Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry
  • At least 5 years of experience in estimating
  • Strong understanding of project management principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Microsoft Project
  • Experience with Carlson Takeoff or AutoCAD software
  • Familiarity with TOPCON GPS survey layout equipment
  • Solid understanding of estimating concepts, techniques, and software (e.g., HeavyBid)
