As the Head CNC Machinist, you will take charge in a dynamic machine shop dedicated to prototyping, development, and production support, where you will expertly craft one-off, precision components. You will confidently program, operate, and troubleshoot multi-axis NC (numerical control) and manual milling and turning equipment. In addition, you will develop innovative workholding methods, select the optimal tooling and machinery for each task, and create detailed setup sheets for the machinists, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Head CNC Machinist Benefits

- Pay $31 – $40 DOE
Head CNC Machinist Responsibilities
- Interpret and analyze blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
- Familiarity with machining processes and the necessary parameters for optimal material cutting, including correct speeds, feeds, depths, and cutting angles
- Set up and position raw materials and components onto machinery
- Operate equipment to perform functions such as milling, turning, drilling, tapping, deburring, sawing, and related tasks
- Skilled in setting up and/or operating CNC Haas vertical mills or lathes
- Demonstrates organized and safety-conscious work practices
- Inspect and service machinery daily to ensure proper operation
- Keep the workspace and equipment clean, orderly, and in compliance with safety protocols
