We are looking for an experienced Executive Pastry Chef with a proven track record of running multi-unit concepts in a luxury hotel or resort. This opportunity offers tons of growth potential, a great work environment, and a progressive company culture.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Creation and development of a pastry program
- Staffing, monitoring, oversite of quality control
- Ensure that all food preparation is per regulatory guidelines
- Look for ways to reduce spoilage of infrequently used items
- Hire, train, and manage staff regularly to upkeep brand standards
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3-5 years experience in a luxury 4 or 5-star hotel or resort
- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success
- Good time-management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong passion for the art of food design
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience
- Team player
