We seek a Production Manager to join our Baker City, OR team. The Production Manager is responsible for meeting production targets, optimizing resource and material use, and enhancing operational efficiency. Additionally, they ensure strong communication across departments and address personnel, production, and product issues.
Production Manager Responsibilities
- Develop and execute plans to meet objectives in safety, quality, production, and delivery.
- Oversee and support production department leadership while maintaining responsibility for team productivity and goal attainment.
- Inspire, challenge, and provide constructive feedback to leaders and team members while addressing and resolving concerns effectively.
- Continuously enhance policies, procedures, and processes to improve manufacturing efficiency, quality, safety, and delivery performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to initiate and manage projects aligned with business goals.
Production Manager Requirements
- A minimum of five years of successful experience in supervisory or production management roles.
- Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles and quality systems.
- Familiarity with manufacturing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
- A demonstrated passion for mentoring and developing others.
- Proven ability to analyze complex problems and lead the development of effective solutions.
