Job Title: Controls and Hydraulics Specialist
Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Controls and Hydraulics Specialist to provide expert technical support for industrial projects, focusing on installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of automation and hydraulic systems. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and the ability to manage customer relationships effectively. Travel up to 70% (domestic and international) is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for technical support and troubleshooting.
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and other control systems (Allen Bradley and Siemens preferred).
- Review and validate electrical and hydraulic schematics for accuracy.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure project quality and on-time delivery.
- Conduct safety inspections and adhere to QEHS standards.
- Travel to customer sites for installation and commissioning activities.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 10+ years in industrial automation, electrical design, and hydraulic systems.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting (Allen Bradley and Siemens preferred).
- Knowledge of AC/DC motors, drive systems, and hydraulic circuits.
- Experience with AutoCAD or similar drafting tools.
- Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP).
