Are you an experienced Cyber Range Engineer ready to make an impact on national security? Join our team at the Joint Cyber Training Enterprise as a Senior Cyber Range Engineer and become a key player in supporting the U.S. Cyber Command’s critical cyber operations and training initiatives. This role is onsite at Fort Meade.

Cyber Range Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Plan, design, and execute cyber range events aligned with mission objectives
  • Provide technical expertise in networking, authentication, and system security
  • Support cyber exercises and training events, translating mission goals into actionable event environments
  • Manage cyber range infrastructure and offer IT, network, and virtual environment support
  • Drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, delivering expert guidance on tools, systems, and cybersecurity best practices

Cyber Range Engineer Requirements:

  • 4+ years with CNO/CNE/CND platforms
  • 5+ years in cyber training and validation exercises
  • Networking expertise (DNS, routing, TCP/IP troubleshooting)
  • Proficiency in tools like MS, AD, Security Onion, VMWare, and RHEL Identity Management
  • Experience with cyber protection teams and Joint Events Life Cycle
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related technical field
  • Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification, Security+, CCNA, CISSP preferred
  • U.S. Citizenship and TS/SCI clearance (will undergo a CI if selected)
