We are in search of a highly creative experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary operations. We are a luxury private, boutique resort and want to provide our guests with only the highest quality of scratch-made cuisine! Menu must change regularly to keep options fresh for our guests and the Executive Chef must be flexible to attune to their needs. This is a working chef position.

This position is based in the Florida Keys and will require living and working in this area. Housing for this role is available at a generously subsidized rate.

Boutique Resort Executive Chef Qualifications:

  • 5+ years as an Executive Chef
  • 3+ years experience with high-end, luxury ultra-fine dining (Michelin or James Beard experience a plus)
  • Progressive and servant leadership style of management
  • High level of creativity
  • Marketing exposure highly preferred
  • Experience with Banquets and catering
  • Experience with promotional events and guest activation activities
  • Experience reading and understanding PandL reports, creating budgets, and forecasts
  • Ability and desire to live and work in the Florida Keys

Boutique Resort Executive Chef Responsibilities:

  • Lead the culinary team with consistency and integrity
  • Coordinate with the GM and Director of Food and Beverage on menus and offerings
  • Meet guests tableside
  • Be a marketable figure for the resort. Participate in marketing activities
  • Create custom menus and offerings for VIP guests and events
  • Maintain high levels of kitchen cleanliness and organization
  • Manage culinary financials including COGs and Labor
