Our client, a luxury hotel in Chicago, is seeking a passionate Manager of Catering and Sales. As the Catering and Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing client relationships, planning and executing events, and driving sales for the catering and event space. You will collaborate closely with both clients and the internal team to ensure seamless event execution and customer satisfaction.
Hotel Manager of Catering and Sales Compensation and Benefits:
- Annual salary between $85k-$95k

Hotel Manager of Catering and Sales Requirements:
- At least three years of experience in an upscale sales and catering role
- At least three years of leadership experience
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with people at all levels
Hotel Manager of Catering and Sales Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients to secure business for events and catering services.
- Oversee the full event lifecycle, from initial inquiry to post-event follow-up.
- Negotiate pricing, services, and event contracts.
- Coordinate logistics for events, including room set-up, catering, and AV needs.
- Prepare and present detailed proposals, including customized packages and options.
- Manage the event calendar, ensuring proper staffing and resources are available.
- Collaborate with the catering team to design menu options and ensure quality service.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a high level of client satisfaction throughout the event planning process.
- Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales goals.
- Assist in marketing efforts to promote the venue and services.
- Stay updated on industry trends and local market developments to identify new opportunities.
