HVAC Mechanical Design Engineer Responsibilities:

• Perform HVAC load calculations and equipment selections for commercial building systems
• Design air distribution and hydronic systems for HVAC applications
• Research and ensure compliance with mechanical and energy codes at all levels
• Create mechanical specifications and generate CAD/Revit-based mechanical documents
• Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and field staff throughout project phases
• Conduct site observations and assist in managing contractor relationships and project progress

HVAC Mechanical Design Engineer Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, with Revit experience preferred
• Experience in mechanical design for the building and construction industry (entry-level to 5+ years; experience will determine compensation)
• Professional Engineer (PE) designation preferred; assistance to obtain PE may be provided
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
