As the AEKM, you’ll assist the Executive Kitchen Manager in delivering high-quality, delicious food, maintaining food safety and sanitation standards, and ensuring profitability. The AEKM plays a crucial role in building revenue by fostering an exceptional team member and guest experience.

Assistant Executive Kitchen Manager Qualifications:

  • 2-5+ years of experience in a scratch kitchen, upscale concept
  • Knowledge of systems, methods, and processes
  • Ability to lead and create a fun, engaging environment
  • Team development skills
  • Strong passion for culinary excellence and guest service
  • Self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow
  • Problem-solving skills

Assistant Executive Kitchen Manager Responsibilities:

  • Support team members
  • Conduct line checks
  • Prepare end-of-shift and daily financial reports
  • Follow best practices and guidelines to meet standards
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring a great guest experience
  • Maintain an environment that upholds our culture and integrity
  • Must be a people person and a true team player
