A well-respected, growing bakery group is in need of a strong leader to take on our Bakery Warehouse and Food Production Manager role in the Phoenix Metro area. We are looking for an individual who has a stable work history in Food Production, looking to grow themselves by teaching and leading others, an individual who is comfortable in food production operations, and a person who loves building relationships with their team. Production Manager Requirements:

• At least 10 years experience in food production, bakery/pastry experience is a bonus
• Demonstrated knowledge about the chemistry of baking
• Managing a team of 45+ employees
• Understanding of production baking
• Experience with IQF strongly preferred
• Ability to foster a positive work environment 
• Bilingual –English/Spanish
• Excellent supervisory experience
• Multi-task while maintaining required standards of daily operations
• Basic problem-solving, spreadsheets, and computer skills 

Production Manager Responsibilities:

• Overseeing all aspects of the bakery: packaging, production and delivery  
• Work with teammates in a professional & efficient manner 
• Willingness to learn new methods
• Purchasing and ordering
• Working directly with vendors on competitive rates     
• Responsible for accurately, timely, and effectively tracking and reporting entity expenses
• Be an outstanding and supportive leader to your fellow teammates
• Maintain payroll, inventory, and work with budget on monthly accounting for COGS
• Must ensure systems are maintained and utilized to ensure accurate order entry, receiving, and inventory control
