We are looking for a smart, creative, and self-motivated person to join our growing catering and events team! The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience directing catering events in the Hotel and/or Country Club environment. The Catering Sales and Event Planner will have to have excellent communication and leadership skills and the ability to provide superior customer service to our guests. Catering Sales and Event Planner Duties & Responsibilities
- Planning menus
- Meeting with customers and vendors
- Discussing contract requirements with customers
- Booking, selling, planning, and coordinating all social events
- Generating revenue, establishing new accounts, and booking repeat business
Catering Sales and Event Planner Requirements
- Leadership experience in fine dining, hotel, or off-premise catering services required
- Must have strong event knowledge (Food, Staffing, Linen, Rentals)
- Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills (Caterease is a plus)
- Team Oriented
- Maintains a Good Energy Level
- Thorough and Organized
- Professional
- Positive Attitude
- Must be available to work evenings and weekends for client events
- Caterease software experience is a Plus
