Physical Therapist – Geriatric Care
Our client is a trusted provider of comprehensive healthcare services for older adults, dedicated to enhancing their quality of life through compassionate and skilled care. Their team focuses on improving mobility, function, and independence in a supportive and professional environment.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Perform thorough assessments of patients’ physical abilities and limitations.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans designed for geriatric patients.
- Utilize therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other interventions to enhance strength, balance, and mobility.
- Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with facility policies and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Valid Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with elderly patients and their families.
- Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience or knowledge in geriatric physical therapy techniques is preferred.
