This role, which reports to the Vice President of MEP Engineering, is a key part of the MEP team, with expectations for quality and timely output. Candidates should have strong experience with industry-standard tools, technologies, and processes in MEP system design.

MEP Design Engineer Responsibilities

  • Skilled in producing quality construction documents and modifying CAD/Revit elements.
  • Develop MEP designs for multidisciplinary projects.
  • Provide CAD/BIM support; manage AutoCAD and Revit files.
  • Lead project startup, and workflows, and coordinate QA/QC efforts.
  • Update Revit families/CAD blocks
  • Track project time accurately
  • Strong communication, organization, collaboration, and time management abilities

MEP Design Engineer Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Engineering (ABET-Accredited), ideally Mechanical or Electrical.
  • EIT or PE License preferred.
  • Requires 1-4+ years of MEP design experience, focusing on mechanical and plumbing
  • Background in drafting, architecture, or engineering.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office
