An Assistant General Manager is needed for an iconic Fine Dining Restaurant in Grand Rapids. This Restaurant uses the freshest and best quality ingredients available, with an emphasis on their people. 

Assistant General Manager Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all FOH food and beverage operations, and supporting the GM of this high-end restaurant
  • Hire, train, motivate and develop staff, supervisors, and managers.
  • Ensure high-quality product and uphold high guest standards.
  • Interact with POS technology and utilize best practices and systems to exceed standards of efficiency and service.
  • Oversee private dining and assist the catering manager as needed. Assist with direct marketing, advertising, and promotions.

Assistant General Manager Requirements:

  • 2 plus years of a similar role
  • Excellent guest service presence and good communication skills
  • A passion for guest service, building sales, and guest loyalty.
  • Good understanding of beverage programs, wine service, beer, and liquor.
  • Has experience in both an independent and corporate environment.
