Site Development Design Engineer – Stormwater & Utility Design Focus

Our client, an esteemed engineering firm with over 50 years of excellence, is seeking a skilled Site Development Design Engineer to join their team. This role focuses on stormwater quality and quantity calculations, utility design, and advanced modeling tools, including AutoCAD and HEC-RAS. Site Development Design Engineer Responsibilities:

• Lead the production of schematic and construction plans with a focus on stormwater drainage design.
• Perform stormwater quality and quantity calculations for land development projects.
• Design and model utility systems to support site development.
• Conduct HEC-RAS modeling for floodplain analysis and channel flow design.
• Use AutoCAD to develop detailed, accurate site development plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of stormwater management and utility design.

Site Development Design Engineer Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• EIT certification preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for design and drafting.
• 3+ years of experience in stormwater design, utility design, grading calculations, and HEC-RAS modeling.
• Strong understanding of stormwater quality and quantity calculations, floodplain management, and utility infrastructure design.
