We are seeking an experienced and passionate Bar Manager to lead a dynamic team in a sophisticated hospitality setting in New York City. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage an upscale bar operation, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Bar Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to company standards.
- Manage and train a team of bartenders and bar staff, fostering growth and teamwork.
- Develop and maintain an inventory system to minimize waste and control costs.
- Collaborate on creative menu development, including cocktails and seasonal offerings.
- Maintain and manage relationships with vendors for inventory and supply.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as local liquor laws.
Bar Manager Qualifications:
- Proven experience in bar or beverage management in an upscale or fine-dining environment.
- Strong mixology background with a creative approach to crafting cocktails.
- Knowledge of wine is highly preferred; certification is a plus.
- Exceptional team leadership and staff training skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management and cost control practices.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Bar Manager Compensation:
- Competitive annual salary of $90,000
