Seeking a HYBRID Civil Environmental Engineer with brownfield remediation experience, preferably in Wisconsin. Individuals in this position plan, design, and manage the day-to-day operations of projects for the company.

Civil Site Environmental Engineer Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (PE license preferred)
  • 5-10 yrs as a project manager/project engineer (Wisconsin experience preferred)
  • Experienced in Brownfield Redevelopment (Phase I, Phase II, NR 716, NR 718, etc.)

Civil-Site Environmental Engineer Responsibilities

  • Analyze survey, mapping, and materials-testing data with computer modeling software
  • Create blueprints with CAD packages
  • Create Engineered drawings for improvement proposals that meet client needs and project requirements using analysis tools and software.
  • Confirm that engineering drawings and project solutions meet local and state requirements and laws and adhere to engineering best management practices.
  • Attention to construction costs, government regulations, potential environmental hazards, and other factors in planning stages and risk analysis.
  • Assess projects to determine workability or not by assessing materials, costs, and time requirements
  • Consider the environmental impact and risks connected to projects
  • Prepare bids for vendors, reports to clients, public agencies, and all parties involved
  • Manage, direct, and monitor progress during each phase of the projects
  • Confirm all sites meet legal guidelines, and health and safety requirements.
  • Present findings to the public that include bid proposals, environmental impact statements, and/or property descriptions.
  • Manage the repair, maintenance, and replacement of public and private infrastructure.
  • Aid in the development of proposals
