We are looking for a dedicated Vocational Instructor to join our team in Sonoma, California. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and helping students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) achieve their career goals. The Instructor will deliver high-quality instruction and provide support to students in our vocational program. MUST RELO TO SONOMA, CA
VoTech Instructor RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans; Existing plan in place
- Provide hands-on instruction in one of the following: General Contracting, Electrical Work, Welding, Plumbing, HVAC, or Auto Body Technician.
- Assess and support student progress
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning experience
- Stay updated with industry trends to keep our curriculum relevant
VoTech Instructor REQUIREMENTS:
- Preferred but not required: Bachelor's degree in Education, Vocational Training, or related field
- Relevant CA State certification or licensure (Company will assist with this), unrestricted/clean CA Drivers License
- 3-5 years of experience in the vocational fields
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, patience
- A passion for teaching and student success
- Comfortable working with students of all backgrounds with respect and dignity
