Wine Production Director Responsibilities/Requirements:
- Oversee all aspects of winery operations, including production and cellar management
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve production and revenue goals while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Manage and lead a diverse team of 10 direct reports
- Coordinate grape harvesting, crushing, fermentation, blending, and bottling processes
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop and execute promotional events, wine clubs, and distribution strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in Viticulture, Enology, Business Management, or related field is a plus
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to oversee various aspects of winery operations simultaneously
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance related to wine production and sale
