- Sushi Line Cook Qualifications:
- Team player
- 1+ years of experience of working as a sushi/maki line cook
- Knife skills • Enthusiasm for and knowledge of relevant ingredients and cuisine
- Grasp of general sushi-making techniques and proficient knife skills
- Organization and culinary skills to maximize production efficiency
- Seeks additional responsibility
- Solid food safety knowledge
- Cross-trained and experience in multiple stations
- Utilizes and understands IT tools to manage the business/production effectively
- Assists in prioritizing tasks to ensure all items on the daily production list are made
- Sushi Line Cook Responsibilities:Produces a high-quality product and adheres to all food safety guidelines and standardized recipes
- Promotes departmental cohesion
- Proactively communicates with all supporting departments
- Sets a high standard for health codes and inspections
- Hands-on, hardworking, and passionate
