Our client, a leading architectural and engineering firm in South Dakota, is seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to design and implement mechanical systems for diverse construction projects.

Mechanical Design Engineer Qualifications/Responsibilities:

Design and implement mechanical systems, including HVAC and plumbing, while conducting load calculations and energy efficiency assessments
Collaborate with architects and engineers to integrate mechanical solutions into building designs and prepare detailed engineering drawings
Oversee the installation and commissioning of mechanical systems on-site, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with a mechanical emphasis; passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam or ability to do so within 6 months
Minimum of 2 years of mechanical design experience; proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Microsoft Word, with HVAC load design software experience a plus
