Senior Grocery Buyer Responsibilities:

  • In charge of the entire supply chain, including forecasting and inventory management
  • Directly monitors, assesses market condition and makes recommendations for savings
  • Light travel requirements to stores and vendors
  • Strong communication skills as well as ensure compliance with corporate offices

Senior Grocery Buyer Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of purchasing experience in a food-first industry
  • Must be experienced in the entire supply chain
  • Background in pricing, sourcing, marketing, negotiating, merchandising, inventory control, and logistics
  • Strong understanding of store operations
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail

Senior Grocery Buyer Benefits:

  • Salary $70-100k depending on qualifications
  • Bonus eligibility up to $20k annually
