Master Commercial HVAC Technician
Our multi-generational family owned and operated business is growing and seeking to add a Master Commercial HVAC Technician to supervise our service team.
As the Master Commercial HVAC Technician, you will be at the heart of our operations by inspiring, training, and following up on our Service Team in diagnosing, repairing, and providing planned maintenance on a broad range of HVAC systems.
Master Commercial HVAC Technician Responsibilities
- This is a working Supervisory role, acting as an individual contributor, but also as our Team Leader
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair commercial/ industrial refrigeration equipment and HVAC systems
- Follow-up on all team work as needed, providing feedback/ training, etc.
- Excellence in communication with manufacturers, customers, vendors, and internal team
- Provide service to all customers in your area by demonstrating your mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and ability to read diagrams and schematics.
- Produce accurate and timely administrative documents, such as work orders, time reporting, receipts, and truck stock inventory
- Maintain all records and logs appropriately
Master Commercial HVAC Technician Requirements
- 7+ year of technical experience with commercial HVAC and cooking equipment required
- 7+ year experience in other repair types (brazing/soldering, minor plumbing, electrical, etc.)
- 1+ year supervisory experience required
- Universal EPA or equivalent required
- Willingness and ability to handle emergency on-call rotation that includes nights and weekends
- Positive, mature communication and leadership style
