This historic and iconic property is looking for a new Director of Catering and Conference Services to guide them with pride, creativity, and a passion for guests and team and help people have the most memorable weddings and events in Hawaii.

Director of Catering and Conference Requirements:

• 6+ years Catering sales experience
• 2+ years of Director level experience
• Strong negotiation and sales skills and knowledge of contracts
• Sound business communication skills, both written and verbal
• Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office, and working knowledge of Delphi/FDC software
• Engaging personality is conducive to building client relationships
• Direct event logistics from pre-event planning through post-event recaps
• Possess a creative flare to customize menus and programs for clients that differentiate the resort from the competition
• Knowledge of banquet department (sets, AV equipment, scheduling, menu planning) and experience with at least 80,000 square feet of meeting space
