Do you have a servants heart and a desire to lead projects to make your community better? California needs you to manage a variety of public improvement projects. They could vary from Construction, playgrounds, new builds, updates, traffic changes, roads and bridges. This is an exciting opportunity with huge long term growth.
Project Manager Qualifications:
- Prefer a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Planning, City planning or an advanced Mechanical Engineering Background.
- Understands the Principles and practices of Leadership
- Has navigated Civil and structural engineering principles, techniques, policies and procedures. This could include: Legal, permits, outside vendors and getting bids on projects.
- Familiarities with local and state regulatory laws and policies.
- Previous contract negotiating and licensing duties.
- 3plus years in a progressive leadership role, planning, designing and managing projects.
- Valid DL is required and the ability to use a company vehicle. Must be able to travel to local job sites. This is not a remote position.
Project Manager Duties:
- Oversee 6-8 Capital projects from Conception to delivery
- Collaborate with Engineering team and local contractors to keep infrastructure projects on track. Update changes to leadership and navigate the hurdles as they come.
- Provide guidance and oversite for all phases of your projects.
- Assist n preparation of Bids, proposals, contracts and selection of services.
- Help the administration forecast the budget and funds needed for the programs.
- Recommend modification and adjustment as needed, and celebrate the building of a better California.
