Outpatient Physical Therapist Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients’ functional abilities, identifying their individual needs and goals.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans, ensuring that therapeutic interventions are tailored to the patient's unique condition and progress.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure continuity of care and the best patient experience.
• Oversee and provide guidance to Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) to ensure high-quality care is delivered at all levels.

Outpatient Physical Therapist Qualifications & Requirements:

• A graduate degree from an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy Program.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of New York.
• Ability to thrive in a multicultural environment; comfort working with a diverse patient base, particularly in a Russian-speaking community. (Translation services are available on-site.)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on patient education and engagement.
