Our client wants to hire a Floor Manager for their Fine Dining Restaurant. This person is responsible for ensuring a seamless dining experience by overseeing the daily operations of the dining room, and maintaining excellent customer service standards. The ideal candidate will lead, mentor, and motivate the service team while maintaining a positive dining atmosphere for guests.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee Dining Operations: Supervise all front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service, from seating to table management, while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and order.
- Customer Service Excellence: Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring every patron has a positive and memorable experience.
- Staff Training and Management: Train, mentor, and supervise service staff on proper etiquette, menu knowledge, and kosher guidelines. Schedule shifts and manage performance evaluations.
- Financial Oversight: Assist in managing the budget for the dining area, including labor costs, and collaborate with the General Manager on inventory management, ordering, and controlling waste.
Qualifications:
- Experience in Fine Dining Management: Minimum of 3 years of experience managing in a high-end, fine dining setting; experience in kosher dining is preferred.
- Strong Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a team to maintain high service standards.
- Knowledge of Bar Management Know how to efficiently run the bar, training, standards, ordering and cleanliness.
- Exceptional Customer Service Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage guest relations in a fast-paced environment.
- Organizational and Time Management Skills: Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks effectively, and ensure smooth dining room operations under pressure.
