Field Service Technician Benefits:

Field Service Technician Responsibilities:
– Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) at our Canadian facility to ensure equipment meets specifications.
– Install, set up, and commission packaging and VFFS equipment at customer sites in Canada and the USA.
– Train customer staff on equipment operation, use, and maintenance.
– Provide technical support post-installation, including upgrades and modifications.
– Maintain service records and document installations, repairs, and feedback.
– Offer remote technical support via phone or online tools.
– Work with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
– Travel extensively for on-site work; flexible scheduling based on customer needs.
– Stay updated on industry trends and equipment advancements.
– Assist in developing service manuals and training materials.
– Conduct preventive maintenance and advise customers on best practices.
– Support the installation and operation of equipment at trade shows, including resolving technical issues.
– Ensure compliance with safety policies and regulations during all service activities.
– Provide advanced troubleshooting for complex issues and support pre-installation consultations.
Field Service Technicians Qualifications:
– 5-7 years of experience with bagging equipment or VFFS systems.
– Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
– Excellent communication and customer service skills.
– Willingness to travel extensively across Canada and the USA.
– Flexibility to work remotely and offer after-hours support.
– Strong documentation skills and experience with technical diagrams and schematics.
– PLC programming experience is a plus.
– Valid driver’s license and passport.
Field Service Technicians Working Conditions:
– Hybrid role with remote work when not traveling.
– Frequent travel with tight schedules.
– Ability to lift and handle equipment during installations and servicing.
