Sous Chef Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily restaurant operations, ensuring flawless execution, profit growth, and enhanced guest satisfaction.
  • Cultivate a teaching and learning environment within the kitchen.
  • Oversee P&L, food costs, and inventory management.
  • Build strong relationships with management, colleagues, and vendors, demonstrating leadership and integrity while fostering team success.
  • Inspire and motivate team members to achieve their goals.
  • Maintain expertise in food specifications and execution standards.

Sous Chef Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive experience as a Sous Chef.
  • Strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to follow-through.
  • Experience in high-volume culinary environments.
  • Hotel or resort experience is preferred but not mandatory.
