We are seeking an experienced and creative Omakase Sushi Chef for a prestigious fine dining restaurant in New York City. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of traditional Japanese culinary techniques, a passion for high-quality ingredients, and the ability to deliver an exceptional, personalized dining experience.

Omakase Fine Dining Sushi Chef Responsibilities:

  • Design and prepare exquisite omakase menus with seasonal and premium ingredients
  • Ensure artistic presentation and masterful knife skills
  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, food safety, and quality control
  • Engage with guests to provide an interactive and elevated dining experience
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to uphold the restaurant’s culinary vision

Omakase Fine Dining Sushi Chef Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Upscale / Fine Dining Sushi Chef, with a focus on Omakase
  • Proficiency in traditional Japanese cooking techniques and sushi preparation
  • Strong attention to detail, creativity, and a commitment to excellence
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-end environment
