Reliability Engineer Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 10-20 years of experience in reliability engineering within a heavy manufacturing environment
- Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) or Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE)
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail
- Hands-on leadership experience
Reliability Engineer Responsibilities
- Maintain and create reliability testing protocols and documentation
- Conduct root cause analysis on failures and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and test reliability
- Monitor and report on key reliability metrics to drive continuous improvement
- Provide training and technical support to manufacturing teams
- Ensure that Predictive Maintenance technologies (oil analysis, vibration analysis, thermography, ultrasonic, electric motor testing, etc.) are correctly applied to the manufacturing assets
