Our client is seeking an experienced senior mechanical engineer in the South of the Greater Nashville area. Oversee a small staff of engineers in a state-of-the-art facility with tremendous growth opportunities.
Sr Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities:
- Lead Design and Drawing Reviews Heavy machinery, preferably food processing equipment
- Lead mentor and develop more junior Mechanical Engineers and CAD Designers
- Occasional travel (10%) to client sites for support and troubleshooting
- Deliver presentations to cross-functional teams and management
Sr Mechanical Engineer Requirements:
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering minimum, Masters preferred
- minimum of 10+ years of experience with M.S., or 12+ with B.S. plus leadership experience
- 3D CAD modeling/drawing with AutoDesk Inventor preferred
- Strong communication skills – including advanced technical writing
