Restaurant Assistant General Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee the employee performance review process
- Collaborate with the General Manager on employee disciplinary actions and terminations
- Ensure new hires receive thorough training on service standards and expectations
- Implement and uphold operating standards for the service team
- Manage financial activities, including cash handling, deposit preparation, and payroll
- Ensure all guests receive a warm, responsive, and friendly service at all times
Restaurant Assistant General Manager Qualifications:
- 1+ years of restaurant management experience
- 3+ years of experience in the restaurant/hospitality industry
- Strong beverage knowledge and experience are required
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to relay information efficiently
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs dictate
