We're looking for a highly qualified individual with a master's degree or Ph.D. in food science and a strong track record in the industry.

R&D Food Scientist Responsibilities & Qualifications: 

• Participate in all aspects of R&D on new and existing food products 
• Maintain a strategic view of the marketplace 
• Lead technical problem-solving 
• Research new cost-reducing manufacturing processes 
• Work with management team for new product introductions 
• Verify nutritional and ingredient statements for accurate labeling 
• Familiarity with food safety regulations, such as Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) 
• Understanding of food labeling requirements and compliance is preferred 
• Minimum 5 years of experience in food R&D 
• Master's degree of PhD in Food Science or related field with focus on food ingredients and component functionality 
• Experienced with new product development 
• Knowledge of FDA and USDA regulations, and GFSI regulations
