Director of Business Development Benefits:

Director of Business Development Responsibilities:

  • Managing, developing and supporting a sales team focusing on maximizing productivity
  • Develop and maintain existing accounts through follow-up on a systematic basis
  • Responsible for achieving annual sales plan through growth and penetration of existing accounts
  • Present new ideas and products from primary vendors and exclusive brand products to secure accounts
  • Ensure optimum service to accounts
  • Maintain a profile on all accounts
  • Recruiting, onboarding, and developing a sales team

Director of Business Development Qualifications:

  • 5+ years managing a sales team is required
  • Experience using quantitative & qualitative research data
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as customer service and presentation abilities
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability and negotiation skills
