Restaurant Executive Chef

Seeking a proactive and visionary Executive Chef who excels in mentoring and training teams. Passionate about designing efficient systems, processes, and standards to drive organizational excellence. Adept at formulating and adhering to core values. Join our team to lead with innovation and precision, optimizing operations for sustained success.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Chef/management experience in high-volume, fast-paced fine-dining restaurant – Seafood experience is preferred
  • 4+ years as an Executive Chef or Chef de Cuisine role
  • Develop and maintain recipes, portion specifications, and standard preparation procedures for all dishes and ensure that all cooks are following these standards.
  • “Lead By example” mentality with excellent leadership qualities; react well under pressure and treat others with respect and consideration
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs (especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), appropriate point of sale (POS) systems, and any other required operating machines (i.e. cooking machinery).
  • Able to build effective relationships based on respect, trust, and integrity
  • Ability to speak Spanish is a plus.

Executive Chef Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor teams, fostering a culture of growth and development
  • Design and implement effective systems, processes, and standards
  • Streamline operations to maximize efficiency and productivity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to achieve strategic goals
  • Foster and maintain open communication between FOH and BOH
  • Monitor and analyze operational metrics to drive continuous improvement
