Our client's rapidly growing and well-established steel erection company is looking for a highly experienced and extraordinary Vice President of Construction. This organization builds structural steel frames for single-story, multi-story, mixed-use commercial, and warehouse spaces. The Vice President of Construction Operations is responsible for the overall functions of the team from the initial bid to the final walk-through.

Responsibilities:
- Communicate and maintain good relationships with vendors, building officials, engineers, architects, subcontractors, and customers
- Oversee all aspects of the construction and development process, from project planning to completion
- Develop and implement budgets and financial plans
- Negotiate contracts with clients and vendors
- Manage risk and ensure compliance with all regulations
- Represent the company to the public and to clients
- Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
- Maintain good industry involvement with associations and state and local government relationships.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of strong leadership, communication, team building skills, and the demonstrated personal drive to achieve ambitious goals within the construction industry
- Skilled at establishing and working collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment with multiple projects and priorities with annual sales volume around $50MM,
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- 15+ years of experience in the area of commercial construction management; steel erection strongly preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related: required
