We are currently seeking a Production & Logistics Manager to lead the Production team in delivering products on time, at our gross margin targets, and at the highest quality level. The Production & Logistics Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring manufacturing processes for the organization. The primary objectives of this position include overseeing the production schedule to ensure timely completion, actively participating in production planning, and addressing key concerns that may impact the production schedule.
Production & Logistics Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage team deadlines to ensure both raw materials and production arrive on time.
- Lead cross-functional relationships to ensure our product meets quality and cost requirements.
- Manage factory partner relationships through regular visits to local domestic factories, and weekly video calls with import partners.
- Lead cross-functional Supply Chain planning projects focused on the delivery of solution that meet cost optimization and delivery experience.
Production & Logistics Manager Qualifications:
- 8+ years experience in fashion apparel production, logistics and managing direct reports.
- Domestic & Import production experience required; both accessories and apparel production experience strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of retail math: margin, cost optimizations, turn, forecasting techniques, operational systems, and contract negotiation techniques.
- Must be a strong leader and people manager, as well as a great communicator.
- Advanced in Excel and PLM experience is preferred; specifically Centric.
