Our client is a manufacturer of quick-ship and customized electrical power distribution components. They are primed for aggressive expansion into new and existing markets. We are seeking a dynamic Director of Business Development to lead sales growth and create long term value for the company.
Director of Business Development-Power Distribution Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning and Execution
- Partnership and Client Relationship Management
- Representation at industry events, conferences, and trade shows
- Sales & revenue Growth
- Market Research & Competitive Analysis
- Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Budgeting & Financial Oversight
- Contract Negotiations and Deal Structuring
Director of Business Development-Power Distribution Qualifications:
- BA or BS with 8 + years of electrical power industry experience
- Strong expertise REQUIRED in switchboards, switchgear, electrical distribution equipment/electrical and mechanical principles, control wiring, and control schematics; experience with low to high voltage from <600V up to 69KV
- Demonstrated success with business development strategies
- Experience negotiating complex deals
- Experience leading high performance teams
- Financial acumen and understanding of profit margins
- Strong problem solver and adept at relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- International business development a plus
- Experience with M&A a plus
- Ability to travel and work across different time zones
