Our client is a private equity-owned manufacturer in the electrical power distribution space with a long history. They are undergoing aggressive expansion into new and existing markets. Due to growth, they are seeking a Manager of Inside Sales to lead a diverse team of Sales Engineers to drive revenue and expand the customer base.

Manager of Inside Sales-Switchgear Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Team Management including coaching, training, mentoring, and evaluating a team of inside sales reps to achieve individual and team sales targets
• Sales Strategy and Execution, including analysis of market trends, customer needs and competitor activities to identify new opportunities to drive sales growth
• Work cross-functionally with engineering teams to provide customized solutions that meet customers' needs and to evaluate risk, profit, scope of supply, and overall project schedule
• Design, implement and monitor KPIs to track effectiveness and identify areas of improvements
• Position the company as the customers' primary consultant and solution provider

Manager of Inside Sales-Switchgear Qualifications:

• BA or BS with 10 + years of electrical power industry experience
• 3 + years of experience leading diverse teams and ability to act as a Change Agent
• Strong expertise in switchboards, switchgear, electrical distribution equipment/electrical and mechanical principles, control wiring, and control schematics; experience with low to high voltage from <600V up to 69KV
• Demonstrated success with good proposal process methods;
• Financial acumen and understanding of profit margins
• Strong problem solver and adept at relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement sales plans to drive revenue growth.
