Structural Engineer Requirements and Responsibilities

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university; Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in structural engineering
Proficient with structural design software, word processing, spreadsheets, and CAD
Conduct analysis and design of residential and commercial buildings, including calculating wind, seismic, earth, and gravity loads
Prepare accurate construction documents, including structural framing plans, general notes, and details
Travel to client offices and project sites primarily in Middle Tennessee, with occasional trips to surrounding regions
