Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, evaluate, and report warehouse productivity to the Director of Operations and/or VP of Operations.
  • Collaborate with the Brand and Design Manager to track and catalog all seasonal decor.
  • Oversee the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials
  • Conduct monthly inventory audits using Yellow Dog to ensure accuracy and order entry across departments
  • Track, forecast, and maintain an ordering plan for packaging and retail items to prevent shortages
  • Coordinate with the Brand and Design Manager and VP of Operations to meet timelines and accommodate design constraints
  • Streamline operational norms across departments to identify inefficiencies and implement solutions
  • Verify the accuracy of orders, invoices, items received, inventory, and deliveries
  • Maintain maintenance standards and comply with health and safety regulations
  • Perform daily inspections of the warehouse and equipment, reporting safety concerns to management
  • Oversee equipment upkeep and scheduled maintenance as needed
  • Coordinate product deliveries and packaging in accordance with brand standards and pickup schedules
  • Supervise the preparation of new retail items for sale
  • Optimize warehouse layout and flow to enhance efficiency
  • Oversee scheduling of warehouse team members
  • Collaborate with Human Resources and management on recordkeeping and employee issues, including hiring, terminations, and performance reviews
  • Source, interview, and hire warehouse associate candidates using Workstream and communicate with HR regarding hiring advertisements

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3+ years experience in a warehouse management role supervising team members
  • Proficient knowledge of warehouse procedures and policies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities
  • Ability to work with all levels of leadership
  • Comfortable delivering frequent and direct written or oral feedback
  • Ability to operate a forklift and other company-provided machinery in compliance with safety regulations
  • Food manufacturing experience is a plus!
  • Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and work in a standing position for extended periods of time
  • Schedule is coordinated with the Director of Operations and/or VP of Operations to ensure proper coverage of week days, week nights, weekends and holidays.
