Staff Accountant Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience as a Staff Accountant-restaurant industry a plus
- Proficient with ADP, -Toast, and Restaurant 365 a plus
- Track and manage PTO and PSL
- Reconcile balance sheets, including prepaids and accruals, and prepare journal entries
- Handle multiple bank account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
- Reconcile accounts payable with vendor statements monthly
- Process check runs and create schedules and analyses for timely reporting and audits
- Assist and work extended hours as needed during month-end closing
- Maintain detailed records of rental/lease occupancy schedules
- Prepare and file sales tax returns, 8027s, 571Ls, and 1099s accurately and on time
