Pastry Chef Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Pastry Chef, preferably in a luxury hotel or private club
  • Experience in high-volume fine pastry production
  • Positive attitude, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong leadership, organizational and time management skills
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience

Pastry Chef Duties:

  • Prepare high-quality products following established recipes and procedures
  • Collaborate with Culinary Director, Executive Chefs and the Banquet team
  • Detailed-oriented with ordering, inventory, food costing, and creating desserts
  • Follows safety and sanitation rules and practices
  • Maintains work area in a neat and organized manner

Pastry Chef Compensation and Benefits:

Salary Range: $80,000-$85,000 plus a great benefits package
