The Land & Facilities Manager will oversee the management and maintenance of a private reserve, ensuring sustainable use of land and resources. This role requires strong project management skills, environmental engineering knowledge, and experience managing contractors. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities to maintain the reserve's infrastructure and natural beauty.

Land & Facilities Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • Erosion and watershed management.
  • Utilities management.
  • Community lighting planning and maintenance.
  • Landscape and tree maintenance.
  • Fencing, road, and trail planning and maintenance.
  • Quarry planning and management.
  • Contractor oversight and service procurement.
  • General property repairs and maintenance.
  • Workshop and team management.
  • Equipment inventory.
  • HOA compliance (as needed).

Land & Facilities Manager Requirements:

  • Relocation to Johnson City, Texas.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction, or related field, or relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in land management or environmental engineering.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with contractors and community members.
  • Proficiency in land management tools and technologies (e.g., MS, Google platforms, construction/planning apps).
