You're a great fit if you have:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in all phases of baking
  • Two years of technical school or certified apprenticeship preferred
  • Ability to train, develop and assess player performance
  • Experience in managing labor and food cost
  • Ability to create innovative desserts made from scratch and create recipes for high volume production
  • Well-organized with proven ability to meet timelines and show results through initiatives
  • Results-oriented and able to set and execute department goals
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Analytic and problem-solving skills
  • Communicate and interact professionally and respectfully
  • Background in High-Profile restaurants, hotels, and/or resorts preferred

What You'll be doing:

  • Support and emulate company culture, standards, and policies and procedures
  • Oversee production of all pastry goods for the market, including cookies, brownies, breads, cakes, puddings, pastries, and desserts
  • Order and manage inventory
  • Supervision and management of Pastry Players
  • Provide constant leadership and training
  • Responsible for employee schedules and labor costs
  • Ensure quality and consistency of all pastry production
  • Standardize production recipes to ensure consistent quality.  
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and clean kitchen
  • Responsible for Pastry Department cost of goods sold
  • Meet attendance guidelines and adhere to departmental and company policies
  • Maintain a positive work environment
