Executive Sous Chef Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Chef de Cuisine and management to ensure the kitchen operates seamlessly
• Lead, train, and motivate a team of culinary professionals, fostering their growth and development
• Assist in the creation and regular updates of menus that align with culinary trends, customer preferences, dietary requirements, and seasonal ingredients
• Supervise food preparation, presentation, and quality to maintain the highest culinary standards
• Support the implementation and enforcement of food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Contribute to inventory management, cost control, and vendor relationships
• Help cultivate a culture of innovation, teamwork, and culinary excellence within the kitchen

Executive Sous Chef Requirements:

• 1–2 years of experience in a similar executive sous chef or senior Sous Chef role
• Proven ability to collaborate with and support the Executive Chef in managing a large culinary team
• Strong background in upscale fine dining establishments
• A creative mindset with a passion for staying current with culinary trends
• Outstanding communication and organizational skills
• Experience in menu development and adaptation
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
• A culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus
